When is the one time that most of us think about car hire? Holiday time! It doesn’t matter whether it is local, interstate or overseas. Holiday time is definitely the time to consider a rental car. But wait; think about it, there are other times when a hire car would be very handy if not essential. Have you ever borrowed a car from a friend or family member and stressed out about it every second you had the car? I have, but worse than that is there a family member that is more than willing to loan you the car but then will never let you forget the great favour he or she did for you. Although renting a car locally or within the United States is a simple task, it can become a time consuming one if you are traveling oversea. Some of the process remains the same; you search around for the best deal, you reserve your car, and you pick it up at your destination when you arrive. I regularly use priceline.com because of its name your own price feature. For those that aren’t aware yet, priceline lets you put a price to your trip and see if any companies will take your offer. What this allows you to do is pay a much less money for the same trip.
