People often look for new places to visit on their vacations. Since aeroplanes were invented the world has suddenly become a lot smaller and foreign countries have become a lot more accessible to people who like to travel. Try visit Basra at least once in your life though.

There is also the Indian bazaar and market and the five star hotel to take a look at. Basra is also home to the first mosque that was not built on the Arabian Peninsula. If you happen to prefer nature to architecture then you will not be disappointed. There are a lot of different species of bird that pass through Basra on their migration route. If you are looking for a unique bird then you can try spotting the Basra warbler, a bird named for this beautiful city.

The weather in Basra is really pleasant. Winters do not get too cold and summer is pleasantly hot. The air is more humid and you can expect more rain than in the rest of the desert as the city is close to the coast.

If you are looking to visit a city that is rich in heritage and beauty, there is nothing that quite beats Basra. It has a rich history and is a truly beautiful city. Ensure that you have a good look at historical Basra if you do manage to visit Basra in all of your travelling.

Everyone should try to visit Basra at some point in their life. Ensure that you know the customs in this country though. You do not want to get into any trouble with the various leaders of the country. They can deal quite harshly with offenders.
