Luxury Car Dealers WOW Customers They May Never Even Meet Until After The Sale

When a customer buys a car with a price tag from the high fives into the six-figure range they expect to be treated very well indeed. They want to feel that they’re receiving something more than just a piece of sexy metal. Luxury car dealers know that their customers want concierge service and a luxurious experience.

A luxury car customer’s experience begins the moment they walk into the dealership’s showroom. Gone are the over-sized chandeliers and waterfalls of yesteryear. Today’s most successful luxury car dealers serve shoppers imported bottled water in fine crystal glasses, full espresso bars and tea time biscuits.

But wait! Luxury cars are usually purchased by very busy people. Many luxury retailers are making new car deliveries to customers they have never even met in person. Online sales have grown exponentially for all car dealers in the past few years. Luxury car dealers were among the first to cater to customers who began buying new cars online and are accustomed to receiving a phone or online order for a six-figure vehicle.

Luxury car buyers usually know what they want when it comes to choosing their new vehicle. Some have already visited the showroom, taken a test drive and decided to complete their transaction online and/or over the phone. Dealers and their staff are ready to cater to the buyer and will work with a qualified buyer to make the process as easy and as luxurious as possible.

An online manager, typically located at the dealership, acts as a concierge. He or she handles all of the necessary documentation, speaks with the customer by phone, obtains signatures via FAX and arranges final delivery of the vehicle. The online luxury car customer may not ever step onto the dealer’s lot before their new car is delivered.

The luxury car customer need never step into a dealer’s showroom. Everything can be handled online, over the phone and via fax. On site delivery of new cars to the customer’s home or office is becoming more common.

Even after the sale, many luxury car dealers provide valet and concierge service for routine and/or special follow-up service visits. Many dealers provide customers with the option of scheduling service visits online. Luxury car dealers continue to “WOW” their customers after the sale even if the customer never steps foot onto their car lot.

Nowadays there are specialist car hire companies so driving expensive cars does not have to be a privilege reserved for a small percentage of the country’s richest. Luxury car dealers will usually have cars available for hire just for those special occasions like posh parties or weddings, or for people who just fancy showing off!
