The climate on the island of the Bahamas can vary from tropical to subtropical and this can mean that it can stay sunny and warm throughout the year. The climate mainly depends on the Gulf Stream that flows from the Atlantic Ocean, which also has a bearing on the weather along most of the American East coast.

The combination of the trade winds and the Gulf Stream really make the Bahamas a lovely place to visit the whole year round. It generally maintains a steady temperature during the day of up to 30 degrees Celsius. It cools down a little at night to around 18 to 21 degrees but it is still a very nice temperature.

It is also possible that between the months of July and November you could experience hurricanes. It is always advisable to check with your travel agents before reserving your booking with this in mid. However if there is a hurricane warning when you are due to go out then most of the time you are protected by a refund policy.

It is recommended that the best time for anybody to visit the Bahamas is usually between the months of January and July. The warm winds generally make the island warm and inviting around that time of year.

Although the weather may be a little hard to predict you can be guaranteed a warm and pleasant stay in the Bahamas throughout the year. Just try to schedule your stay away from the hurricane season.
