Jeremy Browne, Minister of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) said “Helping out Britons is our job, but we can’t get you out of jail or pay your hospital bills”. Many Britons would not have these problems if they have adequate travel insurance in place before they leave. Mr. Browne suggests people prepare properly for their trips and emphasises the importance of arranging appropriate travel insurance.
