Check Out These New York Food Havens

So you’ve booked a trip to New York City and you may be wondering where to eat. There are thousands of excellent places to choose from, so the experience of narrowing it down to just a few can be quite the challenge.

Much of where you choose to go may depend on your budget, your time constraints, your preferences for foods, and the neighborhood you’re in. The suggestions that I share will be reasonably priced and relatively accessible, assuming you don’t mind a subway or a taxi ride.

It is a well-known fact that delicious pizza is what New York is known for. A really fantastic pizza place to go to is located in the East Village and is called Luzzo’s. Here you will receive exceptionally good Neapolitan pizza which I, along with lots of others, think is some of the greatest you will ever try. They are exactly the right size, fresh and hot.

Now, if you happen to be in the West Village, you ought to check out John’s Pizza on Bleecker Street. There is always a line winding clear outside and it has been called one of the best pizzerias in all of Manhattan.

Another must try in the city is its bagels. If you find yourself uptown, you should definitely try to get to an H&H Bagels location.

There are two Murray’s Bagels stores that can be found on the West side and you should make a point of stopping at one of them when you are downtown. Choose a spread that you like and put it on them when they are nice and hot - you will enjoy them immensely.

If you are thinking about burgers, some of the best-tasting ones in the entire world are found in New York City. Shake Shack is the place that so many folks think has the tastiest burgers. It is relatively easy to get to and there are two main locations.

There is one that is in Madison Square Park. Now, if it is cold out, you might not want to go here since it is right in the park and there is not any indoor seating.

The other one happens to be an indoor Shake Shack eating establishment located on the Upper West Side, so whether or not it is cold out is not going to matter. The choice is up to you as to the location you go to, but, when all is said and done, you will satisfy your hunger with their delicious burgers, fries and shakes.
